Recognizing the unique challenges faced by black women in navigating the aftermath of these pervasive abuses, this group aims to tackle these issues holistically, addressing not only the physical aspects but also the emotional, psychological, and spiritual dimensions of healing. Through fostering a sense of community, mutual support, and a shared understanding, this group creates a safe haven where black women can express their pain, reclaim their voice, find strength, and heal together. ______________________________________________________________ *We define woman as an adult human female. (18 +) ________________________________________________________________ *We welcome other groups for women from other racial groups provided that all participants are adult human females. A special welcome to those women who have been disenfranchised from healing spaces that exclusively serve females. (Jewish, Native American, Korean, rural, lesbian, Muslim etc.) __________________________________________________________ Please note that we will be open to female group leaders who are members of these equally valid & important groups. ______________________________________________________________ Space may be accommodated for groups with members other than adult females as trained professional group leaders with the required level of expertise are available to lead them.
