I believe in love.....
BUT, I'm not convinced that everyone believes that women have a right to be safe in the pursuit of true love.
As you read the story of Tiffany Jenae Carroll, please remember.....
It is more often the males of our species that gets to assert that they "feared for their lives" or "felt unsafe" or were "standing their ground" after murdering a male but that does not often result in acquittal for females who murder their abusive male partners. Their domestic terrorists.
Women, all women, deserve safety.
Women, all women, deserve safety in relationships.
Women, all women, deserve safety from sexual violence in marriage.
Women, all women, deserve safety as they serve time in prison for defending themselves for crimes males may have gotten acquitted/less time for "self-defense".
But you can't say "no" to a male and you can't defend yourself when he tries to attack you for saying "no" to him. That's against the law.
It may not spelled out simply and plainly, but it is definitely supposed to be understood.
Parole has been denied again for a woman serving 15 years in prison for fatally stabbing her abuser

Acknowledging the differences between male and female anatomy is not hate! It is fascinating.
Female bodies are not all about regular and periodic pain and inconvenience.
Differences are beautiful!
It is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept, and celebrate those differences. ~Audre Lorde
